With land and freshwater resources decreasing, the land-based aquaculture sector is one of the best solutions to feed the world’s growing population with the lowest environmental footprint. Producing animal protein from aquaculture takes fewer resources and is friendlier to the climate compared to livestock.
𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 uses RAS (Recycling) and Flow-through technologies. In a recirculating aquaculture system, the culture water is purified and reused continuously. It is an almost completely closed circuit with minimal water usage.
In our RAS facilities, water is recirculated using the newest technology, filtration, and oxygenation systems. The cleanness of the water provides the absence of plastic, diseases, and other unwanted substances.
